  • 1 - Do you also handle visa applications for students?

    Yes, we can assist the student in preparing his B permit application file. This service is called "visa formalities".

  • 2 – If my visa is denied, will you refund my money?

    We will refund you the "visa formalities" fee.

  • 3 – Are there any other fees that are not mentioned in your offer?

    No.

  • 4 – If I study for a year, do I get a vacation?

    Yes, one month per year, as a rule. The holiday period is scheduled at the end of your course.

  • 5 – Can I come to Switzerland on a tourist visa and then apply for a student visa?

    No, you must follow the steps from your country of origin.

  • 6 – How long do I have to wait for my visa?

    Generally, the application should be finalised within two to three months of submitting all the documents.

  • 7 - Is your school recognized by the Swiss authorities?

    Yes, we are EduQua-certified and affiliated with the Vaud Association of Private Schools (AVDEP), the Swiss Private Schools Register (REPS) and the Swiss Federation of Private Schools (FSEP).

  • 8- What is the success rate of your students on official exams?

    95% (average from 2013-2024).

  • 9– How do you rate the chance of getting a student visa?

    Applicants’ age, country of origin and level of education influence the application. We will offer you the option to study remotely if your visa application is refused.

  • 10 – Does the school issue a certificate upon graduation?

    Yes, the school will supply a language skills certificate / module certificate / business studies certificate on the basis of exam results (minimum participation of 80% required).

  • 11 –Can I register for your school directly through the website?

    Yes, via the registration form.

  • 12 – Can I study more than one year in Switzerland (with a visa)?

    Yes, visas can be renewed on an annual basis, providing the authorities’ requirements are met.

  • 13 – Does proof of financial means have to be in Switzerland?

    No, you can have an overseas bank account.

  • 14 – Am I allowed to work during my studies?

    Yes, a student is allowed to work up to 15 hours per week, in a paid internship. 

  • 15 – Can I leave the Schengen zone (European area) with my student permit?

    Yes, with a student B permit.

  • 16 – Do I need to speak and understand some French or English to increase my chances of getting a visa?

    For French studies in Switzerland, no basic knowledge of French is required. However, an understanding of English at the B2 level (upper intermediate) is necessary since 2024.

  • 17 – Can you provide me with a sample resume or cover letter to help me write these documents?

  • 18 – What is the age limit to have a chance to obtain a visa?

    29 years of age.

  • 19 – After obtaining the Swiss Business Certificate (regular or condensed), how can I take the bridging course to access the Bachelor's or Master's degree of the University of St-Clements?

    You can do this once you have obtained a certain number of points for the SBC qualification (equivalent of ATHE credits at level 3).

  • 20 – Can I complete my training online if my visa application is rejected (distance learning)?

    Yes. The cost of online courses is the same as the cost of face-to-face courses.
