Advanced individual courses to enhance oral proficiency and presentation skills:

This course is designed for employees who use special terminology at work, make presentations, participate in meetings, and negotiate. This course is designed specifically for the customer. We use the glossaries from your company or our glossaries compiled over many years of work with companies in related industries for a vocabulary course.

These corporate English courses provide a targeted solution for training company staff. The courses can be conducted in both long-term and short-term formats.

Structure of the course:

• Individual sessions with a consultant teacher are focused on developing conversational skills based on selected topics, identifying the candidate’s area for improvement, and applying specific techniques to enhance these areas effectively;

• The topics of the sessions are customized to meet the needs of the student. A free test and oral interview are conducted to assess the candidate’s suitability for the program level;

Aims of the course:

• Increase the vocabulary for specific subject areas.

• Develop the ability to perceive foreign languages by listening to course topics.

• Enhance your ability to converse or write through the course.

After the training, students will be able to effectively use the material learned in similar situations at work.

Part I

1) Individual French courses

French level objective:

Written French: A2;

Spoken French: B1.

Key features:

Possibility to start with the A0 level in French;

Possibility to start with a more advanced level in order to reach the A2 level for written French and the B1 level for spoken French;

Course duration depends on the level of the student’s French level;

After reaching the A2 level, lessons will be focused on the student’s preparation for the FIDE exam with samples for the Swiss naturalization language tests;

Duration of preparatory FIDE courses (minimal amount):

French written part = 3 hours

French spoken part = 3 hours

Additional hours can be added, upon request.

Part II

2) Naturalization Interview Preparation courses

Objective: to master the main lines of Swiss politics, geography, history and law in accordance with General requirements for naturalization in the canton of Vaud.

Key features:

Introduction to the General requirements for Naturalization in the canton of Vaud (“Les critères et exigences pour la naturalization dans le canton de Vaud”);

Materials chosen by the teacher, in agreement with the student;

At the end of each training, a critical analysis of the student’s responses is presented by the teacher;

Naturalization interview training with teacher assistance;

At the end of each training, a critical analysis of the student’s responses is presented by the teacher;

Duration of interview preparatory courses (minimal amount): 6 hours.

Additional hours can be added, upon request.

Prices

Two possible options are available for the student:

1) Choice of French (A2 level preparation + FIDE exam preparation) OR naturalization interview preparation individual classes:

Individual French lessons preparing for the A2 level + Individual classes focusing on French lessons preparing for the FIDE exam (min. 6 hours)

OR

Individual classes naturalization interview preparation (min. 6 hours):

1 hour = CHF 75.-

Important:

French individual classes = French classes preparing for the A2 level + French lessons preparing for the FIDE exam.

The number of hours depends on the student’s initial French level.

2) Choice of Special Package:

Individual French lessons preparing for the A2 level + Individual French lessons preparing for the FIDE exam (min. 6 hours)

1 hour = CHF 65.-

Practical Information

• The schedule and the frequency of the courses are to be agreed, depending on the initial level of the participant (s).

• Our Educational language programs offer levels of training from A1 to C2.

• The duration and the cost of the training are determined based on quotation (please refer to our “School fees” section).

• Our school offers courses preparing for the following diplomas: French: DELF PRO B2, English: Cambridge Business English, Preliminary, Vantage, Higher, TOEFL.

• As a Prerequisite, the student will need to have a basic knowledge of the language in question, i.e. at least A1 level. We offer free language tests prior to our Educational language courses.

• We offer Educational language courses at our school in Lausanne and / or at your company.

• All our Educational language courses can be taken face-to-face and online.
